His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and trustworthy slave; you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master (Matthew 25:23).’
Blessed Easter, brothers and sisters in the Fiat!
Our beloved Pope Francis was a living example on how to live our baptismal anointing with a shepherd’s staff in our hand, not a hammer, on how to lead the lost into the fold through love and mercy to the door of a true and living faith.
With that in mind, I felt called to share the following piece, which I wrote last year and shared on my personal blog. As the events of salvation history continue to unfold and accelerate, as we anticipate the coming Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the prophesied Era of Peace, it behooves us to remain focused on the mission we were given through our baptismal anointing.
May our glorious Lord continue to fill our hearts with the perfect Divine Love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Pope Francis +, pray for us.
Fiat!
